About Védas

Véda (knowledge, wisdom) comes from the word ‘Vid’ meaning to know, to find, to understand. This seeking of knowledge been sourced from four Védas (Rig, Yajur, Sama &

Atharvana Védas) are considered as originating from God, heard and registered by great Rishis (Seers) of the yore. Hence they are known as ‘Shruti’ (as heard). Védas are also known as ‘Apaurusheya’ (not made of man). The term ‘Shruti’ carries considerable significance. There was no practice of writing the Védas in scripts, but were only passed on from one generation to another by chanting and listening. This practice continues till date, and shall remain so.

The Védic mantras carry subtle vibrations which are essential to invoke the almighty and seek blessings to one and all.

Our Véda Patashala

Starting with ‘Sama Védam’, Master C.V.V. Véda Patashala took shape on 26th November 2017 with 16 students. With the growing interest among the students, we started ‘Krishna Yejur Védam’ on 8th January 2021.
The Master C.V.V. Véda Patashala at Mukteswarapuram, is constructed with two floors and open garden, on an owned land of the Sri Sathya Yoga Mithra Mandali Trust. The sacred river Krishna near by, adds to its serenity and scaredness.

The Trustee members have generously contributed from their pension funds and savings, and accepted funds from like-minded people to establish this Véda Patashala, with only one motive ‘Give back to the Society’ by doing a ‘Noble Act’. What could be a more nobler activity than disseminating the Védic knowledge to the younger generation?

Master C.V.V. Véda Patashala inducts students and teach them Védas, free of cost, from the resident paid Véda Pandits at the premises.

Our Future Plans

To cope up with the growing demand, the Trustee members have decided to start Rig Védam and Atharvana Védam.

Financial computations are worked out and the cost per Vedic student is coming to appx. INR 5,000 per month. Nevertheless, the aspiration and determination of the Trustee members is to see that ‘Chatur Védas’ (all four Védas) are taught in the Master C.V.V. Véda Patashala.
